I wanted to get out and do some plein air paintings of the fall colors but that didn't happen. My only plein air painting trip this fall was to my back yard where I painted the sage brush behind my house. I think I'll paint the same scene in the snow pretty soon. Maybe looking through the window. It's REALLY cold out there.
This is beautiful. Whoa.

ReplyDeletemmmm. freshness.
ReplyDeleteLove the brush work, love the colors, not crazy about the gesso texture, but that's just me. Nice painting - are you selling these?
ReplyDeleteVery lovely textures and colors.
ReplyDeleteHey Trevor, I think the gesso texture is more due to the fact that I painted over some other painting. Haven't sold any yet, (haven't really tried) Mostly just for fun.
ReplyDeleteDave - lovin the work man! It's really great to see all the cool stuff you've been doing since our old school days. You've gotten really good!! It's awesome that you jumped into oils. And I love your digital work too.
