Here are a couple digital pieces done just for fun for the Avalanche blog. The Mer-Man one was a combination of two themes: Masters of the Universe, and Zodiac signs. The other one was obviously a Wizard of Oz theme. Lately there has been a lot of construction around my home and where I work, and I just can't visualize a road without orange cones anymore.
i read the horosope he had, funny funny. love that detail
ReplyDeleteI don't think I ever commented on these when you posted 'em on the Avablog. They're so awesome that I think I hate you a little bit.

ReplyDeleteHilarious take on the yellow brick road. Where there are roads, there must follow orange cones and hard hats. I like the energy that comes from the characters on the left as they almost run into each other - and then the dead stop with the monkey. Clever. I think the Tinman and Dorothy designs are my favorite characters.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Dave!
ReplyDeleteI linked to your sight from a friends blog. Do you sell prints of these? I love the Wizard of Oz one. Please e-mail me if you do, pianuning@yahoo.com.
