Fabulous work !! I wasn't too fussed on Treebeard in LOTR's, for one thing I think it was a mistake using John Rhys Davies as the voice especially when he was playing Gimli,and I thought the design of him was wrong.
I love this design... I wouldn't say you were outdone by the movie. They just stole what you did and changed it a little... that's a better way to look at it.
Thanks for the comments. I guess I didn't think the Treebeard in the movie was quite right, but I understand how he needed long legs to get through the forest faster and stomp on orcs.

Another old LOTR image that I did only to be later out done by the movie. But this was my idea of treebeard based on the description in the book.
I like this one much better than the LOTR one. I haven't seen this before, I don't think.
