The Magnificent 12

This is a book cover illustration that I did for a book that just hit the stores last week. It's a fantasy adventure story with a lot of humor in it, which is my kind of book. It's for pre-teens so it's probably about my reading level, too. I really enjoyed reading it with my kids.

I also did a lot of character spot illustations for the book's website: themag12.com. If you are nine or ten years old, or know someone that age, it's worth checking out.

Nice work yet again Dave. Why don't we have reading time with Dave at work?

I think Dillon might be on to someting there. :) Great work Dave! the colors are beautiful! I happen to know a nine-almost-ten-year-old who would probably love to read this book.

I saw this in Borders the other day and I got excited and said "My Teacher Did That!" It is a nice book cover. I love the color and creatures coming out of the mist.
