Losing Art Contest Entries

My former office mate Justin who now works at Blizzard talked me and a couple other guys into entering the Blizzard art contest. They posted the winners today and neither I nor anyone I know is among them. I probably didn't spend enough time on these to compete with the ones that were picked. Oh well, at least I have something to post on my blog now. I don't know if Todd and Ryan will post theirs. We may have to pressure them a little.

These are cool, Dave... great colors and moods in both. You were robbed.

I love the lava environment. The one thing I think it is missing is some kind of intriguing structure, like a fortress in the background. That might have pushed it over the top for them.

Either that, or you should have used the glow brush a lot more.

Great paintings. I prefer these to the ultra-tight renderings, personally. Thanks for posting 'em!

These are both fantastic Dave. That bottom guy is my favorite guy to play on warcraft... I like him so much, I can't remember his name.
