Zion Painting Trip

Last weekend I was able to go on a painting/sketching/reference gathering trip with some BYU illustration and animation students and faculty to Zion National Park. They are doing a student project on environment design and will be using the sketches and reference they gathered for their designs. Since that's kind of what I do for a living I got to come along. It was a blast.
These are the paintings I did while I was down there.

I've seen these in person, I have titanium white on my jeans to prove it! Muaahaaaaaaaa.

You already know I love these and that I can't wait to go out painting.

Foosball!

These turned out awesome Dave! It was fun getting to know you on the trip and finally meeting you.

Remember, Large $26.99 entrees at the Spotted Dog equal hunger pains all night.

Unless of course you spend another $6.99 on dessert :)

While I could just turn around in my chair and tell you how awesome these paintings are, it's much more fun to leave a message on your blog!

These paintings are awesome! I'm jealous that you got to go on such a cool trip.

Your drawings in the previous post are awesome too!
